In this short book, we take a look at the lives of 16 extraordinary women: from challenging the status quo to overcoming oppression and reimagining the world, they have each pushed the frontier of human understanding in their fields. The invisibility of women in science has obscured female achievements for centuries. By understanding the lives of these forgotten women, we can pave the way to a more inclusive scientific community and a brighter future for women in STEM.
