When Amy sees a woman dressed in black rags inside the cottage, and finds the bones behind the fireplace, she can't help feeling afraid. Old Meg lived there at the time of the witch trials in 1612, and has haunted the land around Pendle Hill since then. Dan is adamant that she is harmless, but no one knows if the same can be said of the fox.
